We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Travel Agent to help clients plan and book their travel experiences. The Travel Agent will be responsible for offering customized travel solutions, handling bookings, managing travel documents, and ensuring seamless customer service. The ideal candidate should have a passion for travel, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.
Responsibility
Consult with clients to determine their travel needs, preferences, and budget Plan and book travel arrangements such as flights, hotels, transportation, and tours Provide detailed travel itineraries and confirmations Offer advice on destinations, local customs, travel insurance, visas, and safety requirements Resolve issues such as changes, cancellations, and complaints Collaborate with hotels, airlines, and tour operators to secure the best deals Maintain accurate records of bookings, payments, and customer interactions Promote travel packages, hotel deals, or loyalty programs Keep up-to-date with travel trends, restrictions, and COVID protocols
Requirements
Destination Knowledge – Familiarity with national and international travel destinations Customer Service Skills – Friendly, solution-oriented attitude to delight clients Communication Skills – Excellent written and verbal communication Attention to Detail – Accuracy in bookings, documentation, and billing
Skills and Experience
Sales Skills – Ability to promote and upsell travel packages or services Problem Solving – Quick thinking to resolve booking or itinerary issues Tech Proficiency – Experience with booking systems (e.g., GDS like Amadeus, Sabre) and MS Office Multitasking – Ability to manage multiple client requests simultaneously
